Caryn Warren is a powerful and influential leader in the information technology industry. With her 25+ years of experience, she has a deep understanding of the field and the skills required to succeed and can provide valuable insights and guidance to others. She is an author, motivational speaker, and dynamic entrepreneur passionate about promoting diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry. She is dedicated to breaking down those barriers and promoting opportunities for underrepresented groups.
Caryn is the CEO of CFW Ventures LLC. Her recent work includes creating a movement to empower women in technology and other underrepresented professions called SHE CAN DO I.T.®, which consists of an apparel line, podcast, and a memoir.
ADDRESSING THE PIPELINE PROBLEM
Caryn is the Founder and Executive Director of Innovators of Tomorrow Inc. (IOTINC), a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with the mission to bridge the gender and cultural gap in the IT field.
IOTINC provides technology education and training to K-12 students, with a special focus on underrepresented groups such as girls and students of color. Caryn's motivation for founding the nonprofit stemmed from her personal experience in her career and years later when her daughter was the only girl and only black student in her technology classes in 9th grade. This inspired her to research the issue further and discover the critical role that representation and role models play in shaping girls' decisions to pursue tech education in middle school. Through her nonprofit and advocacy work, she is significantly impacting young people's lives and the tech industry's future.

INTERNET SAFETY ADVOCATE
As a Children's Digital Safety Author, Caryn is continually researching and staying up-to-date with the latest trends, challenges, and advancements in online safety and child protection. She believes that fostering open communication and collaboration among parents, educators, and children is essential to address the ever-evolving digital landscape.
In addition to her book, she actively engages with the community through workshops, seminars, and online platforms to promote digital literacy and responsible internet usage. Her goal is to equip parents, teachers, and children with the necessary knowledge and tools to make informed decisions and create a positive digital experience.

She has collaborated with educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and industry experts to raise awareness about internet safety for children. She is constantly inspired by the stories and experiences of those she encounters, which fuels her passion for advocating for a safer online environment for our children.
